The Performing Arts Center
The Illinois Central College Performing Arts Center, built for over $2.5 million in 1978, is a self-contained unit that serves both college and non-college groups. The center provides opportunities for intellectual, social, and cultural growth for students, faculty, alumni, and the community. It has 478 permanent seats and 22 handicapped-accessible seats, with additional space for handicapped individuals. The facilities include staging, light and sound control booths, box office, dance studio, prop storage, scene shop studio, dressing rooms, makeup room, costume storage, and construction room. The center hosts major-talent acts, music ensembles, theatre productions, concerts, and visual art displays.
Shows & Tickets
Tickets to shows and performances can be purchased online or at the PAC Box Office.
Lecture Recital Hall
The Lecture Recital Hall of Illinois Central College is a performance resource where community members gather to experience live music and related events. We seek to provide a comfortable and affordable space that enhances the cultural vitality of our community. The 190-seat hall is perfect for small ensemble rehearsals, professional exhibits or informal recordings, and performances.
Art Galleries
Illinois Central College has three art galleries, all located on the East Peoria campus, which feature art exhibitions:
- Gallery 336B, located in the Academic Building
- Performing Arts Center Gallery, located in the lobby of the ICC Performing Arts Center
- Gallery 131D, located in the Academic Building – features student art
The Studio
This space is versatile and can be used for multiple purposes, including a black box theater, warm-up area for dancers, reception area, or extended dressing rooms. The Studio can be rented separately or in conjunction with the Main Stage.
