ICC Theatre Presents: Five Women Wearing the Same Dress, A Comedy by Alan Ball
A lavish wedding reception is in full swing downstairs—so why are the bridesmaids taking turns hiding in the upstairs bedroom?
Meet Meredith, the bride’s rebellious younger sister; Georgeann, who is determined to heal her own broken heart with outrageous behavior (and another drink, thank you!); Frances, the naïve young cousin who feels blessed to be included; Mindy, the groom’s cheerful lesbian sister, and Trish, whose beauty-queen days have left her with a cynical view of the whole ‘romance game’.
Content warning: frequent mentions of sex; smoking/drug use and drinking onstage. This script is PG-13.
Rehearsal Dates: January 27th – March 28
Performances Dates: March 29, 30, 31, and April 1 & 2 at the ICC Performing Arts Center, East Peoria.
All are welcome at ICC theatre auditions (students, faculty, staff, and community)
