Adult Community Education
We offer a variety of non-credit workshops that promote lifelong learning, so community members of various ages and backgrounds can experience the joy of knowledge, curiosity, and community-building without the worry of grades, tests, and papers.
What to Expect
Adult Community Programs are (noncredit) workshops and programs on a variety of topics, designed to give the community an opportunity to learn new skills and interests in a fun environment. Topics range from art to collectibles and antiques, computers, gardening, crafts, cooking, film, personal growth, fitness, home, and special interests. Unless otherwise stated, programs are designed for adults 18 and over.

Payment is required at the time of registration. Online and phone registration is accepted with credit card payment only. You can pay in person by cash or check.
Location
Most of the programs are held at the ICC Peoria campus in Hickory Hall. We sometimes partner with area businesses to provide workshops/programs offsite. Content determines the program length; whether it meets one time or more. The format can be lecture, hands-on, day trip, group discussion, or a combination.
Cancellation Policy
In the event a participant must reschedule or cancel, the participant must notify us at 309-690-6900 at least 5 business days in advance prior to all courses/workshops/trips. Cancellations made with less than 5 business days’ notice will be charged the full amount.
Refunds
If your payment was made with a credit card, your refund will be issued back to your credit card. If your payment was made with cash or check, a refund check will be issued to you.
We reserve the right to cancel workshops due to insufficient enrollment. In the event of a cancelation, you will be notified and workshop fees will be refunded.
