Commercial Refrigeration Technician

The Commercial Refrigeration Technician Certificate prepares students to work in the maintenance and repair of ice machines and walk-in, reach-in, and supermarket refrigeration. After completing this certificate, students will be able to seek employment as entry-level refrigeration technicians or mechanics as well as or as general facilities repair persons.

Through lectures and hands-on lab experiences, students will develop the technical knowledge and skills to perform as entry-level light commercial refrigeration technicians. The program provides all necessary tooling needed to gain proficiency in technical skills.

A Quality Education

This is one of three certificates that can be completed as students work toward an HVAC/R Associate in Applied Science degree.
