Associate in Arts (Transfer)

The degree in Music Business combines the study of music with courses in business and communications to prepare the student to transfer to a four-year college or university and pursue a bachelor's degree.

The ICC Music Business program combines the general education curriculum and business courses with music theory and music performance courses. The program prepares students to not only be better musicians and performers, but to understand the complexities of the music industry.

ICC offers six music performance organizations: Concert Band, Concert Choir, Chamber Singers, Jazz Band, Philharmonic Choral, and Vocal Jazz Ensemble.

How Do I Get Into the Music Business Program?

Take your love of music and turn it into a career. Connect with an Admissions representative to learn how to get started.

  1. Complete our quick admissions application. It’s free and easy!
  2. Apply for financial aid (FAFSA).
  3. Apply for ICC Scholarships. Just 1 application for over 600 scholarships.
  4. Previous experience in school band or choral programs is helpful, but not required
  5. High school classes in English, math, and science are beneficial for the general education curriculum
