Student Government Association (SGA)

The SGA represents the student body by making recommendations to the administration regarding student concerns. They also conduct polls regarding needs, gather opinions and attitudes of students, provide student representation on college committees, and assists with charitable and civic activities as well as college events and activities.

Student Trustee

Each spring, ICC students elect a member to the ICC Board of Trustees. The Board, which is composed of eight members elected from the college district, adopts and enforces policies and rules for financing, governing, operating, and administering the college. The Student Trustee has an advisory vote on the Board, may make and second motions, attend executive sessions, and express opinions and preferences on votes taken during the monthly business meeting.

Student Senators

Senators are elected to represent the student body and its interests. Senators will be called upon to vote on matters concerning the SGA and the student body. They always represent the students and, in a larger sense, ICC as a whole. Senators should be involved with the student body as much as possible, so they understand the concerns of the students.
